When her family settled in Ohio by way of Zimbabwe, England & Nicaragua she felt like an alien on a suburban planet.
Crossing three continents gave her plenty of material for storytelling and paved the way for a career in songwriting.
She then landed in San Francisco and has since recorded five cds in five short years,
two for the night crowd and three for the under-five set.
After releasing Miles Away she married Eduardo Morell, packed up a box of her CDs, and set off on a 'round the world journey.
On a small island west of the Thai peninsula with a travel guitar in hand, Tamsen realized she had finally taken her show on the road.
The images from her latest travels both brought back memories from her childhood and fueled a new cycle of songs. Tamsen has
just released her second self-titled CD, MILES AWAY.
